Woman bit man’s nipple in fight over phone charger, police say
A woman who bit a man’s nipple and slapped him during a fight over a phone charger faces two misdemeanor charges, according to Lake Havasu City Police.
Officers said Wendy Michelle Chavarin, 20, was arrested after she slapped a man’s face several times and bit his nipple during a fight on April 11.
Chavarin allegedly told police she had received a text message from the man, who she has lived with for a year, demanding that she return to the house and return his phone charger. He also allegedly told her over the text message that he may throw away her belongings. When she returned, an argument turned into a fight. Police said Chavarin told officers that the man hits her when he gets angry, so she struck him preemptively, slapping him in the face and pushing him onto the bed, where she bit his nipple. According to police reports, officers saw blood around the man’s nipple and a small laceration on his face. Chavarin had scabs around the corner of her lip, but she said she didn’t recall getting hit by him. She was arrested on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
