CMP crews mopping up after Thanksgiving Day storm
Central Maine Power crews are mopping up following a storm that that knocked out power for more than 20,000 customers on Thanksgiving Day.
The storm brought heavy snow and strong gusts to western and northern Maine, knocking out electricity thousands of homes and businesses.
Fewer than 1,000 remained in the dark Friday evening.
More snow is possible at the start of next week. The National Weather Service is keeping an eye on a potential Nor’easter.
