Madison man arrested Thursday afternoon for August North Side shooting, police say
A 33-year-old Madison man was arrested Thursday in a “tactical response” for a North Side shooting in August that left another man injured, police said.
Quadren L. Wilson was arrested on charges of first degree recklessly endangering safety and being a felon in possession of a firearm, Madison Police Lt. Kelly Donahue said. He was taken to the Dane County Jail.
Wilson was arrested after police relieved a tip that he was in a residence in the area of Acewood Boulevard on the Far East Side, police spokesman Joel DeSpain said. DeSpain said Wilson was taken into custody without incident after police surrounded the residence in a “tactical response.”
Wilson was arrested for his alleged involvement in an Aug. 4 shooting on the 1500 block of Troy Drive that left a 21-year-old man with non-life threatening injuries.
