Crime blotter for March 4
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
Deputies responded to a shooting incident in Graniteville on Saturday morning. Deputies spoke with a man who said an unknown black man had robbed him, pistol whipped him and shot at him.
A Warrenville man was arrested Friday night following a traffic stop. The man admitted to police that he was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested after deputies confirmed the man had not paid his tickets.
An 18-year-old Johnston man, two 18-year-old Aiken men and a juvenile were arrested Friday night for constructive possession of firearms. The four were arrested after a traffic stop, during which deputies found marijuana and revolvers.
Deputies spoke with an Aiken woman Friday who claimed the people she hired to redo her floors had stolen some jewelry from her.
A Graniteville woman on Friday reported more than $2,000 worth of cleaning supplies had been stolen from her.
An Aiken man was arrested Friday morning for unlawful use of 911 and threatening a public official. The man’s arrest stems from several phone calls and threats made to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
