Driver flown from the scene of Highway 151 accident near Beaver Dam

TOWN OF TRENTON – Flight For Life was called to Highway 151 in the town of Trenton Thursday following a two-vehicle crash.

According to a press release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, 911 calls around 7:50 p.m. reported a crash with injuries and road blockage on Highway 151 near Highway C int he town of Trenton.

The driver and sole occupant of a passenger car was flown from the scene via Flight For Life with life-threatening injuries. The driver and passenger from a pickup truck were evaluated by medical personnel, but not transported by EMS.

“The investigation is in very early stages, but lack of seat belt usage is a factor in the seriousness of injury,” according to the press release.

Northbound traffic on Highway 151 was backed up at the time, but was moved along on the shoulder of the road.

Beaver Dam Fire and Paramedics, Flight For Life, and DCERT assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
