Bonnie L. Lynch, 88, of Watseka, passed away on Saturday (Feb. 17, 2018) at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
She was born June 13, 1929, in Colchester, the daughter of Clarence M. and Claire Duncan Scott. Bonnie married Dominic E. Lynch on Aug.16, 1952, in Macomb. He survives.
In addition to her husband, Ditty Lynch, of Watseka, she also is survived by one son, Michael (Patti) Lynch, of Kankakee; four daughters, Nancy Cowan, of Watseka, Kathy (Joe) Kubal, of Woodridge, Chris (Kevin) Bossong, of Watseka, and Jennifer (Mike) Dixon, of Watseka; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, with one more coming in the near future.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and one sister, Nancy Dilkey.
Mrs. Lynch was a member of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority at Western Illinois, Beta Epsilon Sorority in Watseka and a former member of Shewami Country Club, where she was part of the Shewami Swingers. Bonnie was a 1950 graduate of Western Illinois University.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka, with rosary services at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka. The Rev. Michael Powell will officiate. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
