Adopt-a-Dog, a Greenwich nonprofit with a shelter in Armonk, N.Y., will receive 10 percent of all gallery sales from a pottery exhibit for the “furry” set coming to Clay Art Center in Port Chester. N.Y.

“Pots for Pets,” a national invitational of utilitarian works, will feature dog and cat bowls, bird fountains, princess perches and other objects “of our pet-friendly imaginations” by more than 50 ceramic artists, the gallery said in a news release.

“Clay Art Center is happy to partner with Adopt-a-Dog, whose mission is to save, socialize and secure loving homes for unwanted or abandoned dogs while creating a community, in a non-kill shelter, where there is a home for every dog,” the gallery said.

This exhibition will be of “great interest to pet owners and lovers who wish to purchase handmade dog and cat bowls for their animals while at the same time helping shelter animals with 10 percent of all sales going to Adopt-a-Dog of Greenwich,” a gallery spokesperson said.
