Lone Star College board to discuss tuition and fees
The Lone Star College System Board of Trustees are scheduled to discuss tuition and fees during their meeting on Thursday, March 7.
The trustees are expected to consider the 2019-20 credit tuition and fee schedule as well as an increase in the workforce non-credit open enrollment course fees for the fall term.
Trustees may also grant a tuition and laboratory fee exemption for firefighters enrolled in the emergency medical services certificates and associate of applied science degree programs.
Along with those topics, 10 other action items and one policy consideration, a second reading, are included on the meeting agenda.
System officials will also share the regular financial report and building and grounds update, which includes a construction projects report, with the board. In addition, reports from the chancellor, presidents, vice chancellors and faculty senate presidents are to be given.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. March 7 at the system’s Training and Development Center board room along Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands.
