Anderson County police car burns inside fenced in lot
ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — A sheriff’s office in South Carolina says it appears someone set one of its police cars on fire.
Anderson County deputies said the fire was reported in the fenced in parking area of the county’s lot around 12:50 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies say someone reported two people around the fence around the time of the fire and several other county vehicles in the lot appeared to be broken into with items stolen.
No one was injured.
Deputies said in a news release they have no suspects and arson investigators are trying to determine how the police car caught fire.
