BILLY EARL FERGUSON,84, of Kenova, W.Va., went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 3, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 3, 1933, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Gallie and Estie Dorsey Ferguson. He was a retired equipment operator, having worked for Standard Slag Company. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by six brothers, Stanford, Joe, Clarence, Russell, Roy and John Ferguson, and their spouses and one sister, Viola Watts. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Holland Ferguson; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray (Melody) Ferguson; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pam Frisby and Sheree (Terry) Armstrong; six grandchildren, Jamie Ferguson, Lindsay (John) Tatum, Phoenix (Dannie) Dyer, Crystal (Mark) Jackson, TJ (Tara) Armstrong and Christopher (Ashley) Frisby; four special great-granddaughters (his little dandies), Raelyn Tatum, Jenna and Julia Ferguson and Addison Armstrong; one sister, Jeanie Queen; two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Billie (Tom) Stewart and Carol (Thurman) Slone; and one brother-in-law and his wife, Gary (Gina) Holland. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Rollins FuneralHome,Kenova. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. immediately, following visitation, with Pastor John Holland officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
