The Dish: Chelsea Clinton, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kendall Jenner and more...
WRITE ON: Chelsea Clinton is set to release a children’s picture book titled, “She Persisted.” According to Entertainment Weekly, it’s an homage to 13 American women who overcame personal and societal hurdles to achieve their dreams, including Harriet Tubman, Maria Tallchief, Claudette Colvin, Oprah Winfrey and Sonia Sotomayor. Clinton tweeted yesterday: “Persistence has changed the course of history — I’m so excited to share stories of girls & women who didn’t take no for answer on May 30th!”
HERE COMES THE BRIDE, EVENTUALLY: Gooptastic Gwyneth Paltrow sees Newton native BF Brad Falchuk in her future. That’s the story from a source close to the star and lifestyle site founder, who blabbed to Us Weekly. “They speak about marriage all the time and know it’ll happen,” the source said.
The insider expects Falchuk, the 46-year-old “American Horror Story” writer and producer, will propose “soon.” The loose-lipped source was confident the 44-year-old actress will be on the business end of an engagement ring and proposal. “He’ll do it when the time is right,” the source said. And when he does, of course she will say yes.” Well, take that to the bank.
ALARMING: Note to Kendall Jenner — get a safe, and maybe some new friends. The 21-year-old model reportedly had $200,000 worth of jewelry swiped from her Hollywood Hills home. Jenner called police around 1 a.m. yesterday after she noticed jewelry missing from her bedroom and was scared someone was still in the house, according to TMZ.
Police searched the property, but found no suspect or evidence of forced entry. Law enforcement sources later told TMZ that Jenner had a party with friends Wednesday night, during which an alarm went off when someone opened a door, but Jenner apparently thought nothing of it. Jenner left her friends in her home at midnight and came home at 1 a.m. to find her jewelry box empty. That’s when she called the cops. Going to need a master detective to solve this one.
