MU hosts first open house of spring semester
HUNTINGTON — Potential new Marshall University students got a glimpse of campus life Monday during the first Green and White Day open house of the spring semester.
More than 160 potential students visited Monday, which was President’s Day.
Combined with family, more than 400 people were on campus for the open house.
The university this school year changed up how Green and White Days are done, bringing all academic programs to the Rec Center for an academic showcase. Students also get a tour of campus and hear from officials like President Jerome Gilbert.
The next Green and White Day is set for Tuesday, April 9. Students can register at www.marshall.edu/tour.
