Volleyball roundup: Ellensburg and Kittitas win; Cle Elum-Roslyn loses to Naches Valley

Ellensburg volleyball sweeps Wapato

The Ellensburg High School volleyball team swept Wapato, 25-14, 25-6, 25-14 for the first win of the season.

Junior Tia Andaya led the team with 13 kills, 11 assists and five digs while Grace Oldham had six kills, six digs and two aces. Payton Lyyski and Rose Vasquez also had four kills a piece.

The Bulldogs continue their season on Friday when they host East Valley High School. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Kittitas volleyball takes down Cashmere

Kittitas volleyball swept Cashmere on Tuesday night by a score of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-12.

Taylor DeKoning led the team in kills with 13, Isabel Robertson had 22 assists, Maddy Webster had seven aces and Brita Stermetz had seven digs.

Kittitas will play in the Sundome Tournament on Friday.

Cle Elum-Roslyn volleyball loses to Naches Valley

Cle Elum-Roslyn High School volleyball was swept by Naches Valley 25-13, 25-13, 25-15 at the Walter Strom Middle School gym Thursday night.

The Warriors fell to 0-1 on the season and Naches Valley is now 1-1.

Cle Elum-Roslyn will continue its season on Thursday at La Salle. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
