Ian Argento, St. Joseph, Jr.: The 6-foot-10 middle hitter is poised to be a big factor for the Cadets after playing on a few volleyball travel teams in the offseason.

Ethan Basch, Simsbury, Sr.: The setter and captain will be one of just two returning seniors for Simsbury.

Aldane Burke, East Hartford, Sr.: A key returnee from East Hartford’s Class L semifinalist squad which graduated six seniors.

Leonel Caceres, Newington, Sr.: The 6-foot-2 setter/hitter competed with the U17 team at the USAV Jr. Nationals last summer in Phoenix. Will be playing volleyball at Lasell College in Massachusetts in the fall.

Logan Carstens, Staples, Sr.: A veteran presence since Staples graduated nine seniors from its FCIAC and Class L championship squad.

Owen Edminster, Warde, Sr.: The 6-foot-6 hitter will be a key on a Mustangs squad that graduated just three seniors from last season.

Louis Egbuna, Newington, Sr.: The 6-foot-2 outside hitter collected 23 kills and seven service aces in the 2018 Class M championship win over Joel Barlow. Will play volleyball at Nichols College in the fall.

Ted Fravel, Newington, Sr.: A 6-foot-7, three-sport athlete with a 34-inch vertical jump.

Alex Gallager, Lewis Mills, Sr.: A veteran presence for a roster that graduated seven seniors from last year.

Maverick Grillo, Trumbull, Sr.: The outside hitter is the lone returning starter for the Eagles.

Thomas Groves, Ridgefield, Sr.: A returning veteran from the Tigers’ FCIAC runner-up and Class L runner-up squad.

Colby Hayes, Cheshire, Sr.: The middle hitter and co-captain was an All-SCC selection last year.

Tyler Herget, Darien, Sr.: The unquestioned leader of a squad that graduated just three seniors from last year.

Kayque Jorge, Danbury, Sr.: The outside hitter was an All-FCIAC first-team selection last season after amassing more than 250 kills.

Skyler Kim, Shelton, Sr.: Kim amassed 282 digs last season.

Chris Knachel, Ridgefield, Jr.: Will be a key returnee for the Tigers, who graduated six seniors from last season.

Ardian Kodzodziku, Newtown, Sr.: The outside hitter will be one of the returning veterans for the Nighthawks, who graduated seven seniors from last year.

Finn McCaffrey, Joel Barlow, Sr.: The hitter will be a key returnee for Class M runner-up Barlow, which graduated seven seniors from last year.

Matt McSweeney, Daniel Hand, Sr.: The 6-foot-5 middle hitter was a big factor in Hand capturing the SCC championship last year.

Shane Meyer, Ridgefield, Sr.: Will be a leader this year for the Tigers.

Patrick Mucherino, Oxford, Jr.: The hitter had 196 kills last season. He is one of 12 returnees for Oxford in 2019.

David Narvaez, Hall, Sr.: Will be a leader since Hall graduated eight seniors from last year.

Eli Peay, Warde, Jr.: The 6-foot-5 hitter should be a force for a very tall Mustangs squad.

Mason Sundquist, Wethersfield, Sr.: The 6-foot-5 hitter will be a valuable asset as Wethersfield graduated just four seniors from last year.

Christian Tzepos, Amity, Sr.: The setter will be the veteran on a team that graduated 10 seniors from last year.
