MCC third-graders spread holiday cheer at Scottville Senior Center

By Riley Kelley | Daily News Staff WriterDecember 23, 2018

SCOTTVILLE — Nearly 100 Mason County Central students braved wind and snow Friday morning to bring holiday cheer to seniors in Scottville.

As they do each year, the MCC kids made the trek into downtown Scottville to deliver presents and greeting cards to the Scottville Senior Center.

The snow was falling and the wind was blowing, but spirits were high, both at the center and on the walk back to the Upper Elementary building.

It was the first time Bill Kerans — the center’s new director as of Dec. 1 — oversaw the third-grade visit, and he said he was overjoyed by the result.
