Lincoln-Way Central escapes BBCHS

The Boilers gave it everything they had, but it wasn’t enough as they suffered a narrow 56-52 loss at the hands of Lincoln-Way Central.

Jason Hartsfield connected on four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points. Christian Straw followed with 11 points, and Gabe Renchen added 10 points.

Kankakee 53, Crete-Monee 47

Jacquan Binion and T.J. Wicks each scored 11 points for the Kays. Binion added six assists, and Wicks pulled down 10 rebounds.

Wilmington 53, Seneca 41

Joey Flannery led the Wildcats with 21 points, and Matteo Lombardi had 17 points.

Tri-Point 66, St. Anne 61

Jacob Carrera led the Chargers with 20 points, and Mark Miller followed with 18 points.

Nick Mahoney added 12 points, and Randal Ifft had 11 points.

Travis Deyoung posted a game-high 26 points for the Cardinals. Mico Sullivan was next with 14 points, and Sion Lightfoot had 11 points.
