U-Haul rams car with 4-year-old inside after parking dispute
KENHORST, Pa. (AP) — Police in Berks County are searching for the driver of a U-Haul truck who rammed an SUV with a 4-year-old inside after a parking dispute.
The incident happened late last month in Kenhorst Borough, outside Reading.
Police tell WFMZ News the dispute began when a woman parked her car close to the SUV at a storage facility.
As the dispute escalated, a friend of the woman got into the truck and began ramming the SUV. The 4-year-old was strapped in the back of the vehicle.
Police say when the SUV’s driver got out of the vehicle to write down the truck’s license plate number, the driver allegedly tried to run him over.
It’s unknown whether anyone was injured.
Police are offering up to $10,000 for tips leading to an arrest.
