Yext: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot
NEW YORK (AP) _ Yext Inc. (YEXT) on Thursday reported a loss of $24.8 million in its fiscal third quarter.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of 25 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, were 12 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 12 cents per share.
The software developer posted revenue of $58.7 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $58.3 million.
For the current quarter ending in January, Yext expects its results to range from a loss of 10 cents per share to a loss of 9 cents per share.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $62 million to $63 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.
Yext expects full-year results to range from a loss of 42 cents per share to a loss of 41 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $227 million to $228 million.
Yext shares have increased 51 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $18.21, a rise of 30 percent in the last 12 months.
