20 acre Parc Air 59 to open in Humble by end of 2018
The Lake Houston Area Economic Development Partnership celebrated the groundbreaking of Parc Air 59 — Humble’s newest business park — in early May with developer Archway Properties and commercial real estate firm Jackson Shaw.
Situated on 20 acres on land, Parc Air 59 has garnered demand from investors because it is located at near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport and features direct access to Beltway 8, and is close to suburban business hubs, such as Kingwood, Spring and The Woodlands.
Jackson-Shaw Development Manager Grant Pearson said Parc Air 59 is designed to cater to a wide range of industrial users as small as 15,000 square feet and will have a competitive tax advantage over surrounding municipalities.
“The location offers users excellent access to the airport, as well as Beltway 8 and US 59,” said Jason Dillee, senior director at commercial real estate firm Cushman-Wakefield. “The mix of product type will satisfy a wide range of users looking to be in the area.”
Slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2018, Parc Air 59 includes three buildings, a 160,000-square-foot cross-dock and two, 80,000-square-foot single-load buildings. Each offers modern facility features, including 28-foot and 32-foot clear heights, 130-foot and 210-foot (shared) truck courts, early suppression fast response sprinklers, and abundant trailer parking.
Lake Houston Area Economic Development President Mark Mitchell, attended the groundbreaking ceremony and is excited to see what this development brings to the community.
“I think this represents a great move forward as far as mix-use development in the Lake Houston area,” Mithcell said.
