Website honors Rocky Mountain basketball assistant Denver Cobb

The website CoachStat.net has selected Denver Cobb of Rocky Mountain College as one of the top NAIA assistant basketball coaches in the nation.

Cobb, who is in his second season with the Battlin’ Bears, was listed as the fourth best from a group of 25.

CoachStat.net, a men’s college basketball coaches ranking website, selected assistants based on the impact they have made upon their programs.

Prior to coaching at Rocky, Cobb coached at Bethany (Kansas), South Florida ane Embry-Riddle in Florida.

The Daytona Beach, Florida, native was a three-time all-conference player for Embry-Riddle and the only player in program history with more than 1,500 points and 250 career 3-pointers.
