MEDIA ADVISORY: Center on Addiction Celebrates Annual Gala Hosted by Sutton Foster, Two-Time Tony Award-Winning Actress, Star of TV Land’s ‘Younger’
NEW YORK – November 12, 2019 – Center on Addiction, a nonprofit committed to transforming the way our nation addresses addiction, will celebrate its annual gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday, November 19. Serving as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies is Sutton Foster, two-time Tony Award-winning actress, star of TV Land’s “Younger” and of the upcoming Broadway production of “The Music Man.”
Center on Addiction, which recently merged with Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, will honor CVS Health and Viacom with distinguished awards for their work in support of the nonprofit’s work to empower families, advance effective care, shape public policy and change culture. Also at this year’s gala, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Terry DeMio of the Cincinnati Enquirer will receive a special tribute award. She is committed to telling powerful stories about the country’s addiction epidemic, with a focus on heroin and opioid addiction.
