Cindy J. (Schewe) Revere
Cindy J. (Schewe) Revere, 58, of Winona died at her home Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018.
Cindy was born Nov. 27, 1959, in Winona, to Victor and Theresa (Kluzik) Schewe. Cindy graduated from the Winona Senior High School in 1978. In 1978 Cindy married Glen Padgett. They had three children. Glen passed away in 1994. In 1995, Cindy married her best friend and the love of her life, Rodger Revere. Rodger was everything to Cindy. He made her smile and her face would light up around him. Cindy and Rodger renewed their vows in 2012 at the Renaissance Festival.
Cindy was employed at Warehouse Market, Econo Foods, Hal Leonard, Lia Sophia and HyVee. Cindy had also done daycare for many years. Cindy enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, crocheting, embroidering, baking, the state fair, the renaissance, the casino, vacationing, garage sales, estate sales, dancing and her most favorite hobby was bowling. Her greatest pleasures in life were anything to do with her husband, Rodger, family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Rodger; children, Brandy Padgett, Glen (Kathrine) Padgett, Julie (Jeremy Marks) Padgett; sisters, Barbara (John) Brandes, Lisa (Chuck) Peterson; brothers, Steve (Doris Volkman) Schewe, Mike (Barb) Schewe, Greg (Carol) Schewe, Dennis Schewe, Brian (Tom Ikert) Schewe; two grandchildren, Felicia and Zach Burkhalter; two great-grandchildren, Aubriella Burkhalter and Tavion Blaskowski; mother-in-law, Sara Revere; brother-in-law, Rory Revere; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts; and special longtime friends, Nancy Frankum and Beth (Eifealdt) Somerville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Theresa Schewe.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be noon Thursday, Oct. 18, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center-Goodview, led by funeral celebrant, Jenny Hoff. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Cindy will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.
