Expand cooking repertoire with international dishes
Apparently, Lake Havasu City residents have a keen interest in international foods. Chef Sarah Freick scheduled a series of classes that teach how to make meals with global origins. That class filled up quickly, so Freik is offering a second round of “Around the World.” The four-part class begins March 18 and can accommodate 15 students.
For this round of classes, students will prepare Lasagna Bolognese, Pasta Fagioli, Eggplant Parmigiana, Creamy Presto and Chicken Flatbread, Albondigas Soup, Tres Leche Cake, Creamy Pepper Jack Enchiladas, Southwest Egg Rolls, Caribbean Shrimp, Jerk Chicken and Lomo Saltado.
The cost is $150 for four three-hour classes, 5-8 p.m.
