Mostly cloudy in Billings Saturday, with highs in high 30s

There’s a s slight chance of rain and snow showers after noon in Billings on Saturday, the National Weather Service says, with patches of fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 38, east wind of 6 to 11 mph., and a 20 percent chance of precipitation.

Saturday night, look for rain showers and snow showers, possibly mixed with freezing rain, before midnight. The low will be around 30, with east northeast wind of 8 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, with little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 52 and west wind of 10 to 15 mph, increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent, with little or no snow accumulation expected.

Sunday night will see rain and snow showers likely before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Skies will be cloudy, with a low around 27. Expect north northwest wind of 13 to 18 mph decreasing to 7 to 12 mph after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
