Mr. Roger Charles McDaniel, 58 of Calhoun, died suddenly on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his home. He was born in Butler, Ga. on Dec. 27, 1958, son of the late Andrew James McDaniel and the late Evelyn Howard Thomas.
Mr. McDaniel was employed with Thrall Car as an Electrician. He was a member of Barrett Road Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Lavada Eaves McDaniel; his son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Keisha McDaniel of Plainville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Donnie Mulkey of Calhoun, and Misty and Travis Cordell of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Joan McDaniel of Calhoun, Donald and Sherrill McDaniel of Locust Grove, and Terry McDaniel of Calhoun; sisters and brother-in-law, Lynn and Perry Hicks of Calhoun, and Edith Cope of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Bryce Cordell, Jayce Cordell, Austin McDaniel, Peyton McDaniel, Ayden McMurray, and Thea Mulkey.
Services to honor the life of Mr. Roger Charles McDaniel will be held Saturday, April 15, at 2 p.m. from the Barrett Road Church of God, with Andrew McDaniel, Travis Cordell, and Pastor Norris Sexton officiating.
The McDaniel family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
The family asks that flowers be omitted, and contributions be made to the Roger McDaniel Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1027, Calhoun, GA 30703.
