Crime Blotter for Dec. 24
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
Three male victims were transported to a hospital for treatment after a shooting incident at a home on Daffodil Drive in North Augusta on Sunday. One had small pellets in his chest area and left arm, and one had a small pellet in his back. The other victim, who was bleeding from the nose, had been punched in the face, according to a male witness, and was bleeding from the nose. The witness said two black males entered the home and attacked the victims. One of the subjects fired a gun.
A 32-year-old North Augusta man was arrested Saturday and charged with trafficking cocaine after a large bag containing white powder was found in his left front jacket pocket at a business on Edgefield Road in North Augusta. Earlier, another man reported that the subject had broken into his vehicle at a home on Edgefield Road.
The manager of a store on Citadel Drive in Aiken reported Friday that a white male had made purchases there and charged nearly $370 to the account of a business when he was not authorized to do so.
A Warrenville man reported Saturday that another Warrenville man hit him with a closed hand on the right side of his face. The victim said the altercation took place in his home on Church Street.
A Warrenville man reported Saturday that someone stole a vehicle owned by his company while it was parked at a home on Melanie Street in Warrenville.
An Aiken man, who lives on Kiwi Court, reported Saturday that someone stole a backpack and other items from his vehicle. He said he had left the vehicle unlocked.
An employee at a business on Augusta Road in Warrenville reported Saturday that she had found a small bag containing a clear crystalized substance.
An Aiken woman reported Saturday that one of her neighbors yelled and “flipped off” her cameras that are outside of her home on Citadel Drive. She said she felt threatened.
A Clearwater man, who lives on Tulip Drive, reported Saturday that someone had thrown dirt all over his vehicle. He said the vehicle’s gas cap was open and there was sand around it.
An Aiken woman reported Friday that she and a man got into an argument at a home on Rushton Road about him taking their daughter for the day. She said he pulled a firearm out of his vehicle and then left the scene. The responding officer contacted the subject, who said he didn’t own a gun. The subject returned the daughter to her mother and let the responding officer search him and his vehicle. No gun was found.
An Augusta woman reported Friday that someone stole her trailer, which contained miscellaneous household and personal items, from outside of a home on Dixie Clay Road in Beech Island.
A North Augusta woman reported Saturday that someone broke the right front passenger side window of her vehicle and stole a purse that was inside while the vehicle was parked at a location on Trolley Line Road in Aiken.
An Aiken man reported Saturday that someone entered a home on Hillsboro Drive through a broken window, broke two sinks and “poured food items” on the floor.
A Windsor woman reported Saturday that a man had hit her during an argument at her home on Cadle Crossing Road. She didn’t want to press charges. The responding officer contacted the subject who said he didn’t the victim.
A woman who works at a business on Hampton Avenue in Aiken reported Saturday that an unknown subject removed several unknown items from the store in a shopping basket and didn’t pay for them.
A Hephzibah, Georgia, woman reported Saturday that a white male stole a 12-pack of Bud Light beer from a business on Edgefield Road in North Augusta.
A North Augusta woman reported a burglary Saturday at her home on Audubon Drive.
