With the officer in pursuit, the car crossed into the oncoming lane, striking a telephone pole. It then careened back into the northbound lane and off the road into an embankment.
Fifty-five-year-old Morene Gagnon was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. She is charged with aggravated drunken driving, disobeying an officer and conduct after an accident. It was unclear whether she has an attorney.
