BOSTON (AP) — Boston police are continuing their search for three men who attacked a Navy veteran near the Boston University campus.

Authorities say the suspects got out of a car and beat the victim shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday near the corner of Beacon Street and Park Drive.

Police and a relative of the victim told WBZ-TV (http://cbsloc.al/15MJjYd ) that Michael Stinnett suffered a head injury and several bumps and bruises.

Stinnett is a Navy veteran who is in his sophomore year at Boston University. He told police that the car stopped and the suspects got out and beat him after he yelled at the driver to slow down.

He was treated at Brigham and Women's Hospital. A hospital official had no information about Stinnett on Sunday.
