HEI posts 4Q profit
HONOLULU (AP) — Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. (HE) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $45.1 million.
The Honolulu-based company said it had profit of 41 cents per share.
The parent of Hawaii’s largest electricity generator posted revenue of $617.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $250.1 million, or $2.29 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.38 billion.
HEI shares have risen almost 1 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 16 percent in the last 12 months.
