March 29, 2019 GMT

Buck, a human resources consultant, will open an outsourcing center of excellence for HR administration in Fort Wayne.

The company, which has a downtown office, expects to add 50 jobs.

Buck has added HR administration outsourcing to its offerings to meet growing demand for bundled benefits administration and HR consulting services in the areas of health, welfare and Defined Benefit Administration, according to a news release this week. The center will “serve as a model for further HR outsourcing expansion throughout the U.S. in the year ahead.”

The staffing expansion is primarily full-time positions supported with a “small number of contract staff as we quickly ramp up our administration and outsourcing operations” in Fort Wayne, Hollie Smith, a spokeswoman for the company, said through email.

The company is not disclosing any financial information about the expansion.
