FREQUENCY -- The Covey Center for the Arts in Provo will present a free public concert featuring FreQuency, the venue’s contemporary a cappella group featuring 12 local high school students. The performance is a part of the Excellence Concert Series and is set for Monday at 7:30 p.m.

THE SOLARISTS -- Local band The Solarists will host their EP Release party at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo this Saturday with Noble Bodies and Currents. Doors at 8 p.m. with tickets priced at $8 at 24tix.com.

VELOUR LIVE’S ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS -- Monday-June 15 Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo will present its annual Battle of the Bands, featuring a week of music by up-and-coming local artists and groups.
