King football conquers LI Lutheran to stay unbeaten

STAMFORD — LaVaughn Lewis ran the opening kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown while A.J. Greene ran for a score and caught a pass for another Saturday as the King School football team remained unbeaten thanks to a 32-6 home victory over Long Island Lutheran.

Trey Canevari had an 80-yard touchdown connection with King quarterback Renn Lints while Lints motored 17 yards for other touchdown for the Vikings, now 4-0.

Long Island Lutheran (1-4) avoided the shutout thanks to Tristan Etienne’s five-yard scoring run with 3:11 left to play.
