DHS holds child welfare forum in Rosebcurg
The Oregon Department of Human Services is looking for input on Oregon’s child safety system.
They will be holding one of their statewide Child Welfare Action Plan Community Forums in Roseburg on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
They will have two sessions from 4:15-5:15 p.m. and from 5:30-8 p.m.
The forum will include a pre-forum session for current or former foster youth, and for current or former foster parents, caregiver networking, updates from DHS, in-depth round table discussions to provide solutions to child safety barriers and an opportunity to network and ask questions of DHS leadership and staff.
