Nancie Vold, 81, Baraboo

Nancie M. Vold, 81, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at St. Clare Hospice House with family by her side.

Nancie, daughter of Harold and Evelyn (Miller) Jones, was born Jan. 19, 1937, in Baraboo. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School. On July 16, 1955, she was united in marriage to Marvin L. Vold at the Presbyterian Church in Baraboo. Nancie was employed by Isenberg’s True Value for more than 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of more than 62 years, Marvin; children, Jonnene (Jerry) Cote, David (Christine) Vold, Tamara Bristol, Mikeal (Sharon) Vold, Lynda (David) Brill; nine grandchildren, Kadi Bristol, Jared (Oana) Cote, Russell Bristol, Justine (Matt Weiland) Cote, Michelle (Drew) Brinker, Jamie (Kaleb) Becraft, Josh (Kelsy) Brill, Mackenzie Brill and Samantha Vold; seven great-grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Haley, Noah, Brinley, Drayton and Benjamin. She is further survived by special friends, Jim (Renee) Teasdale.

Nancie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Duane “Buck” Jones; and her sister, Jeanene Zimmerman.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Redlin Funeral Home.
