Although spring begins in March, the warm weather generally doesn’t show its face until April.

Aquatopia Indoor Water Park at Camelback

Aquatopia is equipped with 13 water slides, ranging from tube slides, body slides, mat slides, bowl slides and an aqua launch capsule slide, as well as several kids rides for the younger thrill seekers. Additional ammenities include a swim-up bar and indoor cabana rentals.

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions

America’s largest indoor waterpark, clocking in at 220,000 square feet of water, features dozens of slides, a flow rider, children’s activity pools, swim-up bars and private bungalows and cabanas. In addition to the water park, the resort offers an arcade, virtual reality experiences, escape rooms, bowling, mini golf, 7-D motion theater, a spa and several dining options.

Factory tours and experiences

Crayola Experience

Visit the site of America’s oldest brewery, discover the hand-dug fermentation caves that were used for storage before refridgeration and enjoy a taste of the traditional lager. A valid ID will be required for those who would like to sample the beer following the tour. Tours are only available Monday to Friday until April, when they open Saturdays as well.

Susquehanna Brewing Company
