They met on a blind date while pursuing teaching degrees at Utah State University.

Bill and Diane were career educators. Bill worked for the majority of his career as a high school and junior high counselor. Diane spent time home with her children and also worked many years as an elementary school teacher. They were both heavily involved in the Idaho Education Association where they fought for improved education throughout the state.

Their lives have revolved around each other and their family, and they are truly an example of a happy marriage. All marriages have ups and downs, but they have been selfless in their love and sacrificed for one another. They have honored the thought that, “There is no more important commitment in time or in eternity than marriage.” Their marriage has been an example of love to their family, friends and community.

Bill and Diane have been blessed with four children, 11 grandchildren, and 7.5 great-grandchildren. Their children and grandchildren will honor them at a family gathering during the day, followed by the early evening reception for all friends and family. Please come and celebrate 50 wonderful years.
