Gosling boys hit 10 3s, drop Cudahy

CUDAHY — Senior forward Trevor Tietz led all scorers with 18 points as Watertown’s boys basketball team defeated tournament host Cudahy 51-45 in the opening round of the two-day tournament.

Senior guard Ben Smith added 11 points for Watertown (2-5), while sophomore guard Kory Stas and junior guard Alec Lauersdorf each added eight. Sophomore point guard Cade Oiler added six. Tietz hit four of Watertown’s 10 shots from 3-point range.

O’Bryan Mungon scored 11 points for Cudahy (1-9).

Watertown takes on Janesville Parker (2-8) to close out the tournament today at 5 p.m.
