Pocatello Unitarian Service Sunday

February 3, 2017

Join Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Sunday at 4 p.m. for a worship service featuring special guest speaker Mona Heern with a presentation about the Baha’i Faith. All are welcome at the church building at 309 N. Garfield.

Mona Heern was forced to flee Iran and became a refugee because of the systematic persecution of the members of the Baha’i Faith. She has been an educator for the past 15 years, and has lived in 13 different cities in four countries. Her family moved to Pocatello last year.

Mona will be speaking about the Baha’i Faith. For more than a century, Baha’is around the world have striven to give expression to the oneness of humanity by seeking to eliminate racial prejudice, advance the equality of women and men, and build vibrant spiritual communities that reflect the human family in all its diversity.

Children’s Religious Exploration will be available during the service. Plan to stay afterwards for light refreshments and conversation. For more information, go to pocatellouu.org.
