FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) _ Robbie Keen’s 38-yard field goal broke a tie midway through the fourth quarter and gave Frankfurt a 19-16 win over London in a World League game Saturday. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak by Frankfurt.
Frankfurt finished the season 3-7, while London fell to 2-7-1.
London tied it at 16 on 30-yard touchdown pass from Fred McNair to Tony Sargent in the third quarter.
London took a 6-0 lead on a 47-yard TD pass from Stan Gelbaugh to Jeff Alexander, but Frankfurt came back in the second quarter and took a 14-6 lead on an 86-yard scoring pass from Chris Cochrane to Lew Barnes and a 6-yard TD run by Cochrane.
George Muraoka later sacked Gelbaugh in the end zone for a safety that made it 16-9.
Tim Broady had two interceptions for Frankfurt.
