A drug deal gone very wrong resulted in a teenage being shot in west Harris County. Now investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division are asking the public for help in identifying and locating the suspects.

Investigators released photos of three men who are wanted for aggravated assault on two males in far west Harris County.

The case began at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, when District 4 patrol deputies responded to a call for service of a 16-year-old male shot in the 23000 block of Walderford Drive in the Governor’s Place subdivision in Katy.

According to investigators, an “18-year-old male and a 16-year-old juvenile met up with the three male subjects to buy drugs from them.”

However, during the transaction, one of the males in the vehicle reportedly pointed a gun at the two and started shooting. The occupants of a silver-colored vehicle then chased the two males through the neighborhood firing at them indiscriminately as they fled on foot.

The vehicle was reportedly driven by a white male subject from which investigators have released two social media accountant photos. The front- and rear-seat passengers are described as the black males.

The 16-year-old was transported Ben Taub Hospital, and is recovering.

The three males suspects are believed to reside in the Katy area. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the HCSO Violent Crimes unit at 713-274-9100.
