Olive N. Stoltenberg

Olive N. Stoltenberg, 90, formerly of Poynette and Lodi, passed away April 2, 2017, at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Facility in Sheboygan Falls, after a brief illness.

Olive was the sixth child of 11, born Aug. 12, 1926, to the late George and Helen (Stebbins) Bauer in rural Arlington.

She attended elementary school in Inch and Poynette, and graduated from Poynette High School in 1944.

In 1946, she married William Stoltenberg and ran the family farm with him until he preceded her in death in 2011. She also worked at Central Colony as a cook, retiring in 1988.

Olive enjoyed flowers, reading, Sunday walks on the hill, and spending time with her three grandsons.

Survivors include her son, Herb (Kathy) Stoltenberg of Plymouth; three grandsons, Paul (Beth) of Connecticut, Andy (Annecke) of Lake Geneva, and Tim of Los Angeles, California.

She is also survived by two brothers, Dale (Louise) Bauer of Waunakee and Kenneth Bauer of Janesville; three sisters, Ferne Johnson of Marshall, Evadne (Lloyd) Hahn and Carol (Bill) Porter, both of Poynette; brother-in-law, Robert Stoltenberg of Arlington; and four sisters-in-law, Shirley Stoltenberg, Margaret Hebel, Linda Stoltenberg, and Donna Mae Montford, all of Poynette.

Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held in July.
