Leftover wild turkey licenses available starting Wednesday
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — More than 900 hunting licenses remain after North Dakota’s fall wild turkey lottery.
The Game and Fish Department says the licenses are in seven hunting units. They’ll be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Wednesday.
Resident and nonresident hunters must apply online at the department’s website . Hunters are allowed a maximum of five licenses for the fall season.
The fall turkey season runs from Oct. 13 through next Jan. 6.
