University combines communications, enrollment, student life
PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — Plymouth State University is combining three offices into one in an effort to attract more students, enroll them and keep them engaged.
The new Communications, Enrollment and Student Life office is meant to help students who are exploring Plymouth State as an option, guide them through the enrollment process and enrich their experience on campus. It brings together the marketing and communications office, recruitment and admissions staff and a student life group that encompasses recreation, clubs and other programs.
University President Donald Birx says it was a natural step to integrate the teams. He said the new office will provide students and families a well-supported path from initial outreach to commencement.
