Mrs. Jared Bryer
Immaculate Conception Parish was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Kelsey Loftus, Archbald, and Jared Bryer, Dunmore.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Loftus, Archbald, and Joseph Loftus, Carbondale. The bridegroom is the son of Kurt and Lori Bryer Archbald, and Linda Wishard, Dunmore.
The Rev. Joseph Sica officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Tara Loftus, Archbald, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Jablonowski, Woodbridge, Virginia, and Kristin Travis, Blakely, cousins of the bride; Katie Mavrogiannis, Boston; Lauren Brucato and Meaghan Sewell, both of New York City; Julia Klotz, sister of the bridegroom, and Nicole Purcell, both of Dunmore.
Joshua Bryer, Archbald, and Cameron Bryer, Dunmore, brothers of the bridegroom, were best men. Ushers were Colin Loftus, Charlotte, North Carolina, brother of the bride; Matthew Seamon, Hershey; Matthew Purcell, Dunmore; Kenneth Caines, South Abington Twp.; Nathan Conway, Lake Ariel; and Michael Massino, Clarks Summit.
A reception was held at POSH at the Scranton Club.
The bride is a graduate of Valley View High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Loyola University, Maryland, and a master’s degree in school counseling from University of Scranton. She is a teacher at Forest City Regional Elementary School.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Dunmore High School and earned paramedic certification from Lackawanna College. He is a paramedic for Pennsylvania Ambulance.
The couple, who met through a mutual friend, will take a wedding trip to Hawaii.
