Stamford’s Loft Artists Association hosts summer art workshops for ages 7 to 14
The Loft Artists Association in Stamford is inviting children ages 7 to 14 to spread their creative wings this summer at our series of creative art workshops.
The sixth annual Summer Art Saturday Workshop Program runs Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon, from June 22 to August 10, and will feature explorations in FIMO clay, robot recyclables, poured and dripped painting, collage, watercolor, pressed flowers, self-portrait, and drawing — all taught by the LAA’s professional and award-winning artists.

“It’s always great to host these workshops in the studios and galleries where our artists create their own work,” Executive Director Mark Macrides said in a news release. “Children can experience a working artist’s environment firsthand and learn from professional and practicing artists. We are grateful for the generous donations from supportive community members that make this rich array of workshops possible.”
