Police investigate theft of more than $6K worth of lingerie
NEWINGTON, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of lingerie.
Victoria’s Secret employees tell Newington police that $6,514 worth of undergarments were stolen between Oct. 10 and 12. Mall security is also investigating the crime.
Police Chief Michael Bilodeau said details about how the thefts took place are scant.
Bilodeau tells the Portsmouth Herald that it’s “frustrating” because police were not notified promptly.
He said he’s spoken to mall security to encourage all parties to promptly report suspected crimes.
