‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ actor arrested at Myrtle Beach
MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (AP) — An actor who starred on the TV show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for XCon World Comic Convention was arrested for public intoxication.
Area media outlets report 44-year-old Nicholas Brendon was taken into custody Saturday night. Police charged Brendon with public intoxication and he was released Sunday.
Myrtle Beach police Lt. Joey Crosby said Monday there were no other details to be released about Brendon’s arrest. It is unclear if Brendon has a lawyer.
This is Brendon’s third arrest of the year. In February, Brendon was arrested after refusing to pay a bill at a Florida hotel. In March, he was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and property damage at another Florida hotel.
