Dino Tomlin gets scholarship offer from Pitt
Shady Side Academy wide receiver Dino Tomlin, the son of Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, visited the place where his father works Sunday and left with a scholarship offer to Pitt.
Tomlin (5-foot-11, 155 pounds) was a participant at Pitt’s camp at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side.
Pitt and Iowa State are among the Power 5 schools to extend an offer to Tomlin. He also has offers from his father’s alma mater, William & Mary, plus Army, Howard, Toledo and several Ivy League schools.
Tomlin recently won the PIAA Class AA title in the 300 hurdles, clocking in at 37.93 seconds.
