CGH opens Rock Falls clinic

January 31, 2019 GMT

ROCK FALLS – CGH Medical Center recently finished building its $3.2 million clinic in Rock Falls and started seeing patients this week.

The 7,000-square-foot facility at 1315 Dixon Avenue replaces the smaller clinic at 100 W. First Ave.; the 2.8-acre site, bought for about $150,000, is just east of Rastede Dental Clinic and across the street from nearby East Coloma-Nelson School.

“It is a beautiful clinic that will serve our area for many years to come,” hospital President and CEO Paul Steinke said. “We are committed to delivering the best care possible, and having a state-of-the-art clinic is an integral part of it.”

The clinic is home to family medicine Dr. Peter Toth, pediatrics Dr. Manorama Hermon and nurse practitioners Donna Cook and Jennifer Garriott.

A grand opening with tours, a meet-and-greet and refreshments will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

“Our staff looks forward to showing off their new space and providing excellent care for our patients here,” said Shane Brown, CGH vice president of physician services and clinics.

The Rock Falls Medical Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed for lunch from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
