Intrepid Potash: 1Q Earnings Snapshot
DENVER (AP) _ Intrepid Potash Inc. (IPI) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $7.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Denver-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.
The potash and fertilizer producer posted revenue of $64 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $52.1 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company’s shares hit $1.02. A year ago, they were trading at $3.59.
